• Professor, Head of painting and Principal in the Government College of Art and Crafts, Chennai, Affiliated to Madras University.

• One man Shows and Group shows held in USA, Holland, Kyoto and Osaka Japan, Seoul, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Bangkok, Hongkong and Katmandu, Nepal.
• One man shows were also conducted in Bangalore, Bombay, Ahmedabad, Chennai , Coimbatore.

AWARDS

• He received the National Academy Award in 1988.
• 1983 Invited to visit the United States of America, as a State guest under the International visitors programe in Washington DC.
• 1971 Participated in VII Triennale organised by the National Academy New Delhi.
• He was also a part of several international events including the 1972 111 Biennale of Visual art, Seychells, and 2005 Cherrycreek Art Festival Colorado, Denver USA.
